More detailed studies on bark moisture of Populus trichocarpa in relation to development of cankers caused by F. lateritium in the Fraser Valley, B.C., are reported from Univ. B.C. Canker development continued through the dormant season of 1957-58, during which monthly av. temp. was higher than the min. temp. for the growth of the causal fungus on potato dextrose agar, and the relative turgidity was below 80%.
