Abstract
At the Inst. of For. Bot., Royal School of Forestry, Stockholm, pine seedlings were inoculated with Boletus variegatus, B. scaber, B. subtomentosus, and Psalliota arvensis, using a water culture method, fully described, which required simple apparatus and provided good means of observation, the shoots growing freely in the open air while the roots were kept under sterile conditions.
