Tabulated information is provided on the resistance of 87 yellow sweet corn hybrids to Bacterium stewartii; in greenhouse tests, plants were inoculated with two different isolates and in the field, natural inoculations were carried out by flea beetles. The varieties least attacked by B. stewartii were Golden Beauty, Golden-gainer, Golden Glory, NJ106 and Superchief.
