Two brands of sweetened condensed milk prepared for the Malayan market were used in storage tests of the stability of added vitamin A. Brand A was fortified by addition of a water-miscible vitamin A preparation containing 100, 000 I. U. per ml. Brand B was fortified with a solution of vitamin A acetate in groundnut oil, containing 1, 000, 000 I. U. per g. The oil was dispersed into cream and added to the milk before it was condensed.
