Two experiments are described. In the first the final results are given of using heat-treated homogenized and skim milk in a split sample field trial. The conception rate was very slightly higher (69.8%) with the milk diluent than with the standard egg yolk-citrate diluent (69-6%). The former has the advantage of economy, easier preparation and is a better medium for microscopic examination of diluted semen.
