A laboratory method of testing potato varieties for resistance to scab

Convenient methods are described, by means of which nine isolates of Streptomyces scabies differing in pathogenicity have been identified on Kerr's Pink and differences in reaction to infection with a mixture of isolates have been detected among eight potato varieties.
