Abstract
The green-manure crops grown on a clayey soil (pH 8.5) were: (A) Sesbania aculeata, (B) Crotolaria juncea, (C) Phaseolus radiatus and (D) Phaseolus mungo. More green matter and larger amounts of N and K were supplied by (A) and (B) than by the other two.
