Acid phosphatases of rice leaves showing diurnal variation and its relation to stomatal opening

Glycerophosphatase, phenylphosphatase and inorganic pyrophosphatase in rice leaves showed marked diurnal variation; activity was always higher at midday than in early morning or late evening.
