Acta paediat jap (Domestic Edn) 73(8): 1115-24

Average daily intakes by 3 infants fed ad lib. with cows' milk diluted 2 in 3 and containing 7% added sucrose, were 269 ml/kg during the first month and 139 ml/kg after 4 months giving protein intakes of 5.38 and 2.78 g/kg respectively.
