Agrochemical grouping of soils of the Ukrainian SSR according to their content of trace elements and to the effectiveness of trace-element fertilizers

Agrochemical grouping of soils of the Ukrainian SSR according to their content of trace elements and to the effectiveness of trace-element fertilizers

Pochvovedenie, 2, 17-27

Cis-Carpathian, Carpathian and trans-Carpathian derno-podzolized, derno-gleyey and brown soils formed on acid fluvioglacial deposits and on shales contain considerable amounts of mobile forms of trace elements (except B and Co). Most Polesian soils are poor in mobile trace-elements and require trace-element fertilizers. Mobile Mn, B, Mo and Co increase from north to south and mobile Zn from east to west.
