Autoimmune reactions of chickens infected by Plasmodium gallinaceum

Autoimmune reactions of chickens infected by Plasmodium gallinaceum

Avian Diseases 13(3): 528-534

Cell-bound and free erythrocyte auto-antibodies were found in the circulation of infected chickens. The free erythrocyte auto-antibodies were usually detected in the serum after the first sign of anaemia but before anaemia had developed to its maximum degree.
