Brucellosis and 'untreated' milk. A suggested scheme for the surveillance of producer retailer herds and the placing and removal of heat treatment notices

Brucellosis and 'untreated' milk. A suggested scheme for the surveillance of producer retailer herds and the placing and removal of heat treatment notices

Mon. Bull. Minist. Hlth. London, Dec. 26: 228-33

A diagrammatic scheme is given as a suggested basis for combatting the spread of milk-borne brucellosis. The scheme is considered to be a useful, practical guide with regard to the placing or removal of milk heat treatment notices under Regulation 20 of the Milk and Dairies (General) Regulations of 1959, which requires the heating of infected milk before sale for human consumption.
