Brugia tupaiae n.sp. from the lymphatics of Tupaia glis in Malaya is distinguished by its minute size (male 9.5 to 11.2 mm. x 30 to 33 micro ; female 19 to 23 mm. x 40 to 5O micro ), short tail (male 30 to 47 micro ; female 55 to 80 micro ), small spicules (140 to 170 micro and 70 to 80 micro ) and the anterior position' of the vulva (260 to 478 micro from anterior extremity). The tail of the microfilaria lacks a constriction between the subterminal and terminal nuclei.
