For parts 4 and 5 see Abst. 3781, Vol. 39. 6. Holstein bullocks 18 months old and weighing 200 kg, in 4 groups of 24, were given forage either to appetite or in restricted amount. The forage was maize or Napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum). All bullocks had free access to a mixture of final molasses 79, urea 3, NaCl 0.5 and water 17.5%.
