Characteristics of the amino acid composition of the protein of plants attacked by Potato virus X
In inoculation tests with Datura and the potato vars. Priekul'skii rannii. Majestic, and Kameraz 1 the quantity of nitrogenous substances and the amino acid composition of infected plants varied with the intensity of infection and the phase of plant growth. A definite correlation was noted between the amino acid composition of pure preparations of the strs. studied and the proteins of infected plants.
