In carcasses of 168 bullocks, 147 heifers and 259 bulls weight was the only factor influencing carcass length, leg length, depth at flank and rib and thickness and width of round. All increased with weight. Weight had little influence on carcass proportions, although there was a tendency for hindquarter to decrease and plate and flank to increase with increase of weight.
