Chlormequat experiments with winter wheat Plants in nutrient solutions

Chlormequat experiments with winter wheat Plants in nutrient solutions

Bodenkultur. 19: 4, 306 Bibl. 44

In glasshouse experiments, chlormequat was applied as Stabilan at 0.4 ml/m2 at the start of stem elongation to wheat grown in nutrient culture. Plants were harvested at anthesis. Number of root fibres was increased, and stem length, ear length, number of spikelets/ear, shoot dry weight and total DM were decreased by chlormequat.
