Abstract
Chromosome pairing at metaphase I was studied in the hybrid (Ae. bicornis x Ae. squarrosa) x (T. durum K Ae. squarrosa) in which 2n = 5x = 35 and the genome constitution is BSbDDA. A mean of 4.5 bivalents per cell was observed and the genome of Ae. bicornis was not completely homologous with the B genome of T. durum.
