Classification of muskmelon (Cacumis melo L.) grown in Punjab

On the basis of fruit characteristics, such as presence and absence of sutures, colour of rind and flesh and shape of fruit, 197 collections were classified into 16 groups and further divided into 40 types. The suitability of these characters for classification is discussed.
