Applications of NPK or FYM or both were equally effective in increasing cherry yields over those of untreated controls. The average yield of beans from 1001. of fresh cherries during the first 3 years was highest in the untreated controls, but these gave the lowest ratio of beans to sun-dried cherries. There were no differences in beverage quality. -Univ. S. Paulo, Piracicaba.
