18 Black Pied Lowland (I), 12 (II) and 9 (III) Aberdeen-Angus crosses with various breeds and 5 Aberdeen-Angus animals with Jersey blood (IV) were fattened to 420 kg., slaughtered and their carcass components evaluated. The animals in (I) served as controls. The times taken to reach slaughter weight were 372.4, 359.2, 469.4 and 485.6 days resp.
