Comparison of milk production of Kholmogor, Dutch Friesian and Jersey cows

Mean values with SEM for 2nd and 3rd lactations of 20 Kholmogor, 16 Dutch Friesian and 12 Jersey cows were respectively: milk yield, 4754 +or- 152, 4446 +or- 150 and 3112 +or- 114 kg; fat content, 3.62 +or- 0.04, 3.94 +or-0.04 and 6.07 +or- 0.10%; protein content, 3.46 +or-0.02, 3.34 +or- 0.03 and 4.20 +or- 0.04%.
