Composition and properties of milk of Simmental grade cows in Azerbaijan and increase in their quality

First-, 2nd-and 3rd-generation crossbreds from matings of Simmentals with the local cattle had a higher milk yield than the local cattle by 51, 124 and 140% resp., the yield of the local cattle being 940 kg.
