Composition of dried milk formula for ad lib. feeding in artificially-fed infants. I. Physical development, protein metabolism, and renal solute-load of healthy infants fed on dried milk formula of relatively high protein composition

Acta paediat. jap 73(1): 79-87

A milk formula containing 2-42 g protein/100 ml with 11.5% of calories as protein, was prepared for ad lib. feeding to infants of 14 days-4 months of age. Vol. of milk formula and protein intake respectively of infants (/kg body wt.) were 228 ml and 5.56 g up to 30 days of age and 100 ml and 2.4l g at 4 months.
