The following is virtually the author's abstract. In a series of six laboratory tests in Maryland and two field experiments in Pennsylvania in 1967 on the effectiveness of sprays against Platynota stultana Wlsm., a pest of roses and other plants in greenhouses in the eastern and mid-western United States, methomyl (S-methyl N-(methyl-carbamoyl)oxy)thioacetimidate) and monocrotophos (Azodrin) gave excellent control of the larvae of the Tortricid.
