Control of bacterial diseases of Sesame (Sesamum orientale L.) by streptocycline

In field trials against Xanthomonas sesami and Pseudomonas sesami streptocycline at 0.3 g/2.5 gal sprayed on 25-day-old seedlings followed by 3 more applications at intervals of 15 days kept the crop free from both diseases.
