In trials at Cleveland National Forest, Tordon 22K at 1, 2, 4 and 8 lb a.e. and 2, 4-D+2, 4, 5-T at 2, 4, 8 and 16 lb a.e. per 100 gal spray were applied to regrowth 1 to 4 ft high of individual plants of scrub oak (Quercus dumosa), manzanita (Arctostaphylos glandulosa) and chamise (Adenostoma fasciculatum) in July 1964 and '65 and August 1966.
