Coordinating fluid milk supplies in the Oklahoma Metropolitan Milk Market

Coordinating fluid milk supplies in the Oklahoma Metropolitan Milk Market

Mktg Res. Rep. U.S. Dep. Agric, 686: 56

Comparisons were made of the systems used in the Oklahoma Metropolitan Milk Market area by regular liquid milk handlers, manufacturing milk plants for surplus milk not required by the handlers and the 3 producer co-operatives supplying the area. Among the factors considered were the fluctuations in the daily, weekly and seasonal liquid milk supplies and demands and the methods used to overcome them.
