Cultivation Of Ergot Organisms On Different Hosts. Ii. Factors Influencing Alkaloid Production During The Process Of Cultivation

Yao Xue Xue Bao 11: 545-550

Four Claviceps microcephala strs. were grown on different hosts during 1957-59. Alkaloid production was higher when inoculations were made during flowering than 3-5 days earlier and was enhanced by the addition of NPK to basic stable manure fertilizer.
