The performance was compared of groups of German Black Pied (G.B.P.), crossbred (Aberdeen-Angus x G.B.P.) and crossbred (Aberdeen-Angus x G.B.P.), fed either intensively or on commercial rations, and slaughtered at 200, 300 or 400 kg body weight; there were 4-17 animals per group.
