Abstract
In pasture swards established on podzolized soils and inoculated with two strains of Rhizobium trifolii, there was a significant trend for the proportion of recoverable inoculum strains to diminish with lapse of time between sowing and isolation, and there was no evidence that introduced strains became permanently established.
