Abstract
In studies on native pasture near Canberra during 1966, competition between 3 strains of Rhizobium trifolii (TAI, UNZ29 and WA67) and competition between them and naturally.occurring Rhizobium spp., as indicated by their ability to form nodules on subterranean clover, was investigated. Also, the efficiency of inoculation by (a) peat culture alone and by (b) broth culture supplemented by peat culture, was compared.
