Pregnant ewes inseminated with semen from the same ram, in 4 groups of 25, were given, during the second half of pregnancy, meadow hay and concentrate. One group got a total of 180 mg thyroxine by injection every 5 days. Two groups got 600 to 700 g sunflower meal in addition to the concentrate and the thyroxine by injection or the same total as 3 implants of 60 mg. Lambing percentages were from 136 to 147 %.
