Effect of cultivation, of different intensities, on some properties of a loamy sand and on various characteristics of plant development. 3. The effect on characteristics of plant development

Effect of cultivation, of different intensities, on some properties of a loamy sand and on various characteristics of plant development. 3. The effect on characteristics of plant development

Albrecht-Thaer Arch 13: 1141-1159

Silage maize, lupin, serradella and winter vetch emerged better after direct sowing. Compared with plowing, direct sowing and disc cultivation significantly depressed winter-rye and spring-barley yields. Direct sowing significantly increased yields of maize and lupin-serradella.
