Effect of deficiency of zinc and other trace elements on content and utilization of phosphorus by plants



Agrokhimiya, 1, 110-116



In water cultures, Zn deficiency increased the P concentration in the dry matter of the leaves and stems of pea and tomato plants 1.5-2.5 times and the ratio of P to Zn 2-6 times. Zn deficiency increased P uptake per plant, increased the concentration of inorganic P and decreased that of nucleotide-, lipid-, and nucleic-acid P in the leaves.
