Abstract
15 groups of 4 Large White and 5 groups of 4 Landrace litter-sisters were served at the first oestrus after attaining 240 Ib. live weight, and thereafter fed according to 1 of 4 regimes. In the course of these nutritional experiments, it was found that parity affected significantly the number of piglings bom and weaned per litter, and litter weight at birth and weaning.
