Effect of mineral fertilizers on yield of spring wheat on chernozen soil in the Tomsk Province in relation to preceding crops

Effect of mineral fertilizers on yield of spring wheat on chernozen soil in the Tomsk Province in relation to preceding crops

Agrokhimiya, 6, 67-71

In trials in 1967-9 on podsolized chernozem soil, 30 kg N, 40 kg P2O5 and 40 kg K2O/ha, singly or in combination, were applied to 2 spring wheat grown after different crops. Wheat grown after wheat and clover showed the highest grain yield response to the application of N; the highest yields were obtained with N + P + K. Application of K to wheat grown after clover decreased yields. Wheat grown after winter rye showed the highest yield response to P.
