Effect of scion variety and methods of raising stock on bud-take in mango

Effect of scion variety and methods of raising stock on bud-take in mango

W. Pakist. J. agric. Res 6(1): 83-7

Two years' studies were made on 3 mango varieties and 2 methods of raising rootstocks (direct planting in nursery and initial planting in a manure pit). In spring-budded plants differences in the numbers of sprouted, green and dead buds in the 3 varieties when examined later were not significant.
