Effect of the retardant CCC and gibberellin on the growth and flowering of lemon and peach plants

Spraying young peach seedlings and rooted lemon cuttings with 0.01 % GA stimulated vegetative growth, whereas CCC at 0.1 to 2% applied to the soil increased the tendency to reproductive development. In both cases the effect of the substances was indirect and accomplished through the regulation of growth processes. -Inst. Fiziol. Rast. K.A.
