Effects of pollution on the susceptibility to larvicides of Culex pipiens fatigans

Effects of pollution on the susceptibility to larvicides of Culex pipiens fatigans

Bulletin of the World Health Organization 33(5): 735-737

The breeding sites of Culex pipiens fatigans Wied. are often heavily polluted. Field tests were carried out at Taveta, Kenya, to determine whether six organo-phosphates found effective against the larvae in the laboratory gave satisfactory control in polluted as well as unpolluted water.
