Effects on resistance of exposure of house-(flies to sub-lethal and partially lethal doses of DDT

An account is given of investigations carried out in view of a claim that house-flies exposed to sublethal doses of DDT give rise to offspring with increased DDT-resistance owing to selection of resistant genotypes. A partially reverted strain of flies haying some residual resistance was divided into three.
