Effects on three species of grain aphids (Homoptera: Aphididae) reared on wheat, oats or barley and transferred as adults to wheat, oats or barley

Effects on three species of grain aphids (Homoptera: Aphididae) reared on wheat, oats or barley and transferred as adults to wheat, oats or barley

Entomologia exp. appl, 10: 3-4, 358-362

The following is substantially the authors' abstract. Tests were conducted in Manitoba to determine whether a preconditioning effect is evident when Toxoptera (Schizaphis) graminum (Rond.), Macrosiphum avenae (F.) and Rhopalosiphum maidis (Fitch) are reared on wheat, oats or barley and transferred as adults to any one of these plants.
