Abstract
Rumen samples were taken from bulls described in the preceding Abst. at 400 kg liveweight, after about 180 days on the diets and after 24 h starvation. Entodinium spp. were the most numerous protozoa, and Diplodinium, Epidinium and Isotrichia spp. were also present.
