Symptoms caused by V. albo-atrum in Moldavia are described and the results of tests on 90 apricots, 27 sour and 45 sweet cherries, 66 peaches and 68 plums are presented. Complete freedom from attack was observed only in 21 peach and 2 apricot cultivars; 6 other apricots showed slight infection and these included some hybrids bred by the Moldavian Horticultural Research Institute.
