Abstract
In further studies, pre-treatment with cortisone, but not with tetracycline, seemed to enhance susceptibility of the mice to infection by the A. spp. Lesions were more severe, progressive and likely to 'be fatal with A. fumigatus and A. flavus than with A. niger.
