Feeding of dairy cattle on large quantities of roughage, including artificially dried lucerne and grass

Zesz. nauk. wyzsz. Szk. roln. Wroct, 57-68

Latin square expt. with 2 matched groups of 12 Polish Black Pied cows showed that replacement of clover hay by artificially dried lucerne or grass in all-roughage rations (containing in addition silage, dried sugar beet pulp and straw) had no significant effect on milk yield or fat content.
