Fractionation of free and bound brown humic acids and gray humic acids by gel filtration, electrophoresis or organic solvents

Fractionation of free and bound brown humic acids and gray humic acids by gel filtration, electrophoresis or organic solvents

Archiv fur Acker- und Pflanzenbau und Bodenkunde. 16: 1, 3-11

The "free" and "bound" brown and gray humic acids of the Ap horizons of a rendzina, a carbonate chernozem and 2 samples of sandy Rosterde, and the residues remaining after hydrolysis with 6 N HC1 of the "free" humic acids of the sandy soils and the "bound" humic acids of the other 2 soils were separated into consecutive fractions by filtration on Sephadex gel, and the individual fractions were characterized by their colour quotients.
