Haemagglutinating adeno-associated virus (AAV) in association with bovine adenovirus type 1. Brief report

Haemagglutinating adeno-associated virus (AAV) in association with bovine adenovirus type 1. Brief report

Archiv für die Gesamte Virusforschung 31(3): 390-392

In a strain of the bovine virus, viral particles, unable to multiply except in the presence of an adenovirus, were found. Electron microscopic study of the virus, designated X7, and its nucleic acid will be published elsewhere. As in the case of serotype 4 of the adeno-associated virus group, this virus exhibited a high haemagglutination titre on erythrocytes of various species.
