Heritability estimates of quantitative characters in mung bean (Phaseolus aureus Roxb.)

Heritability estimates of nine characters were obtained in the F2 of crosses among five strains. High values were obtained for the number of days to flowering and days to maturity. Estimates of heritability for yield and yield components were generally low compared with those for other characters.
