Immune studies in candidiasis. III. Precipitating antibodies in systemic candidiasis

Immune studies in candidiasis. III. Precipitating antibodies in systemic candidiasis

Sabouraudia 3(4): 312-320

In further studies, precipitating antibodies against Candida albicans antigens were demonstrated in 6 cases (5 C. albicans, 1 C. parapsilosis) with prolonged infection of living tissues, and in 2 cases where candidosis could not be established or ruled put with certainty. No antibodies were found during the initial stages of systemic C. infections, in systemic bacterial infections, or in superficial candidosis.
